III. Application & Care Instructions

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your iron-on patch, please follow these guidelines:

• Application Instructions:

  1. Pre-heat your iron to a medium-high setting (typically the cotton setting, approx. 150-180°C or 300-350°F). Do NOT use steam.

  2. Ensure the fabric surface is clean, dry, and wrinkle-free.

  3. Position the patch with the iron on patch back (adhesive side) down onto the desired fabric location.

  4. Cover the patch with a thin pressing cloth (e.g., a cotton handkerchief or parchment paper) to protect both the patch and your iron.

  5. Press the iron firmly down onto the covered patch for 20-30 seconds. Avoid moving the iron around.

  6. Turn the garment inside out and iron the reverse side of the patch area for another 20-30 seconds.

  7. Allow the patch and garment to cool completely before handling or wearing. This allows the adhesive to set properly.

• Washing & Maintenance Guidelines:

  1. Wait Period: Allow at least 24-48 hours after application before washing the garment.

  2. Washing:

     • Turn the garment inside out before washing.

     • Machine wash on a cool or lukewarm gentle cycle (max 30°C or 86°F).

     • Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.

  3. Drying:

     • Tumble dry on a low heat setting or, preferably, hang dry/air dry.

     • Avoid high heat drying as it can compromise the adhesive over time.

  4. Ironing Post-Application: If ironing the garment, do so with the garment inside out. Avoid direct contact between the iron and the applied patch.
